Finally (and hopefully), I have this thing up and running again. Man, its late in the night....actually Rajat called up and threatened to kill me if I didn't go to the gym in the evening tomorrow to meet him. So I don't have to go in the morning tomorrow. That's why I'm still up.
Hey, I got two jobs!!!!! One in PerotSystems TSI and the other in TCS. Let's see what happens, what with MBA, CAT and other stuff circling my head like vultures over a corpse. Gave FLT 3 yesterday....scored a 70. Then today morning, still high and drunk on myself, gave FLT 4 and was brought crashing back to the ground.....only 50.5. Still a percentile over 97.5%, but the DI really sucked. Got to work hard on that one. Still have to give FLT 5 and the Time paper Amit gave. Lots to be done.....wish me luck if you are reading this.

A lot has happened since my last post. I got my first and second sem results during the fourth sem. I got an SPI(Semester Performance Index marked outta 10) of 7.89 in the first and 7.76 in the second. Shiti topped both the sems. Then, Surprise! The result for the third were declared in the fourth sem itself! This time, I got a 7.96. What else...hmmm got some new subjects and some filthy, useless guest faculty. Two of DP's(whose been actin all anal since he was made permanent faculty) cronies(best buddies to boot) were takin EMFT and Signals and Systems in the fourth sem. The Signals guy(Salim whatisisname) really pulled a fast one over all of us in the exam question paper. He gave us a set of "Important Questions" and didn't even give a single one of them(well, maybe he gave a couple, but still!!!) in the exam. Talk about heartlessness!! Mind you, we'd been a pain in his ass pretty much all of the sem. But that didn't make the EMFT guy(Rupesh Hari) betray us, did it?
Apart from that, the exams were pretty OK, with the exception of Analog Electronics II. My mind just leaked I think. It just went blank! I'll be lucky to scrape through with a C. Also, three(actually four) new people were added to our class. More about that fiasco in a later blog.

Currently, I am doing "training"(ha! What a joke!) in MTNL CGO Complex with Taran, Saurabh and Danish. Jazzy, Nasa and Amity are in Dehradun at DRDO. Anupam also went with them but came back home after a couple of days in "Mysterious Circumstances".

AND BEST OF ALL, I GOT HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX.

College open tomorrow. Went to see Jism today, didn't get to see it though. Actually, I had gone with Anup and Vishal yesterday evenin to get the tickets for this mornin's show, but we were short of cash. So we figured if tickets were available at 8 in the night, they would pretty much be there at 11 in the mornin. But as it turned out, I woke up at 11:30, after having read "The Godfather" till late in the night. So, I quickly got ready for the 12:45 show. Anup came over with one of his cousins and Vishal couldn't make it. But when we got there, a sold out notice for the 12:45 show was already in place. Out of desperation, we decided to get tickets for the 3:30 show. As soon as I got to the head of the line and was about to say the magic words, the sold out notice for the 3:30 show was pasted on my face. Well, maybe I'll get to watch it tomorrow with the college guys. We did go to Ansal's Plaza out of pure disgust at our luck. Whiled away some hours and came back to see Australia defeat England. I had started watchin Metro, seemed like a good movie, but then there was a power outage and I resumed readin "The Godfather". I just finished it, great piece of work I say. I read it off in two days' time.

Finally, the exams are over and I can relax. College opens on Monday, but who cares...I AM A FREE BIRD. It's only movies, TV, Computer games, internet, music, cricket and loafin around for at least two weeks now. Taran came to stay at my place last night, so that he could attend Pranshu's party. But unfortunately, Pranshu's aunt got seriously ill and had to be taken to the hospital. So the party got cancelled. Anyways, we played comuter games and chatted on the net and kicked Amit's ass till 3:30 in the mornin. Then we chatted around and played cricket all afternoon and evenin. It was fun. Dixa was at Pranshu's place and they wanted Taran and me to come over, but that obviously wasn't gonna happen!! Maybe I'll go to watch Saathiya tomorrow with Vrinda.

Gave the Maths exam today. Pretty good...all the questions were from the "important" questions sir had given...with a few minor changes. Managed to make a couple o' mistakes even then. Anyways, Logic Design is next. Let's hope there are no surprises there.

Just read Jazzy's blog. Poor guy hurt himself while makin french fries. Actually I also hurt myself in the gym today, that too in my right hand. There coud've been another tragedy in my life tonight. I was playin around with a crazy ball in my room, and it sliiped outta my hand and went, well, crazy. It first hit the TV screen and from there ricochetted off to the computer monitor. Luckily, it was the rubber one and not the usual golf ball I play with, or god only knows what would've happened. Actually it is pretty cold out here in Delhi. It stopped rainin yesterday, but it still is prety chilly and windy. There's more rain forecast for tomorrow. Gawd, when will I be able to sing:

Nasa just called. He's down with typhoid and won't be givin his exams. That's bad enough, only he will have to give the exams with the juniors, ie in our fifth semester. Talked to Pranshu today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRANSHU!! Poor thing, her birthday got ruined because of the exam crap. Also talked to Taran for quite a bit. He's gettin more and more tense each passin day. First exam is on Monday, Maths. Let's see how it goes.

Well, here are my new year resolutions, in no particular order of priority:
1. Study harder.
2. Drive even safer.
3. Not to curse(not when it's not required)
4. Lose at least ten kilos of weight this year.

India play New Zealand again tomorrow. Match begins at 4:30 AM. Dad's made preparations to watch it, as if India are gonna win. I am losin hope each time I see India play, and then when I see the other countries play. South Africa made 364 runs for the first wicket, India didn't make that much in the four innings they played in New Zealand. Steve Waugh scored a century. Go Steve!!

Ok, gotta study now. Dixa had just signed in, but ran away as soon as she saw me. Vrinda is beginnin to like the gym a bit now.

India lost again, so what's new. How thick does one have to be to win the toss and elect to bat in New Zealand?? And then be all out in 40 overs so that the sun can dry the pitch for one and a half hours and the Kiwis can reach the target in 26 overs. Anyways, slept till 1 in the afternoon, then played badminton with Vrinda. Also took her to the gym. I don't think she enjoyed it much. Anyways, let's see if she goes tomorrow. And Jazzy's decided not to come online or update his blog for a few days(I am guessin till exams are over). Maybe I should do the same. Got a very nice e-greeting from Dixa. I am too lazy to send her one though. Anyways, still doin two port networks and Jazzy said that inter-connection of networks is also in the syllabus. Well, gotta study whatever's in the syllabus, right? Ha ha.
Here's a thought:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Thought I'd find lotsa people online, but only Jazzy. Not even Nasa. Anyways, I got two invites to go to Ansals Plaza for new year's eve, and one for a Naval ball and I had to turn em down, reasons are not very hard to guess. Started on Logic Design today, boy PP takes her notes well. Thought I'd finish it within two hours, but the I spent the better part of the mornin sleepin and the afternoon playin road rash with Vrinda. Gotta finish it before I go to sleep. zzz...zzz...

Talkin to PP, Jazzy and Rohit. Boy it's nice to see someone online after so long. Jazzy's monitor got busted, in addition to his hard disk crash and internet account expiry. All a result of reading my thirteenth column on Friday the thirteenth. No news about the admit cards as yet. And Electrical Machines is the most boring subject ever to face humanity. India's world cup squad wa announced today. Laxman's gone, for good I think.

Jatin came and returned my handset. Boy, do I love that handset...Anyways, the last week before the exams is about to begin, which means I had better start some serious studyin. I am still not able to find that bidding for my car door to minimise the decibel level while shutting it. The search continues. Had a great time at Drish's last night.

Watched Kaante yesterday. Cool movie, could've been shorter though. Also got the Logic Design notes xeroxed(finally!!). Mom was so angry, that for one movie I left home at 10 in the morning and returned at 5 in the evenin. And guess what, Amit wanted to go to Ansals even after that. The folks at home are goin to watch the movie today. Might go to Habitat World to celebrate Christmas. Till then...MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Just came back from the party. It ended early this time round. Last year, it went into the wee hours of the mornin. Goin to watch Kaante tomorrow, now that I have two weeks before the exams commence. Most probably will have to buy the tickets in black. Maybe I'll get the datesheet also from the college. Also have to get the Logic Design notes xeroxed from Pranshu. Also gotta look at some CDs and novels from Nehru Place. Tomorrow's gonna be a busy day. Vrinda wanted to come, but now she's goin with her friends.

Boo HooHoo...India lost the test match. What's the use of me stayin up all night if they are gonna lose anyway? Zaheer and Harbhajan let me down today. One Dayer's start on Boxing Day. Australia kicked Sri Lanka's ass.

I might have to go to Aanchal's party after all. She's already invited me three times now. I guess I'll go for about half an hour. She does throw awesome parties though. What the heck, with all that loud music, I won't be able to study anyway. Maybe I could dance the exam blues away. Talkin of exams, Amit just emailed, sayin exams begin on the 6th, "confirmed". That pretty much throws PP's party out the window I guess. I sure hope India are able to get the New Zealanders out tomorrow. Match begins at 3:30 AM. GO INDIA!! I am yet to get tickets for Kaante. Maybe I'll just watch Die Another Day.

Hurray! Jazzy's back at last. And now Nasa's sayin that exams won't be held before the 3rd. Talked to Dixa and Taran for quite a bit yesterday. Sometimes, talkin to Taran can be quite depressin. Exchanged at least ten SMS messages with Dixa while talkin to her on the phone. She says that we could go for Kaante at PVR Naraina. And Jazzy says he can't come to Delhi for watchin a movie. Taran will watch it with his family. That leaves, just me, Amit, PP, Rohit, and anyone else willin to leave their books for three hours. And Vrinda is after me for the movie. So I might just have to watch it twice. Well, I guess studyin will have to wait...

Maaan, what a crappy day. I had to go to the Electric Power supply office to get my bill corrected. The bastards've been showing arrears of 4000 bucks for the past 4 months, and everytime Dad has to go and get it corrected. Well, I went today, and I participated in atleast three fights! The best one was with a guy, who, let's just say, wasn't particularly nice. It took me the better part of three hours to get the job done. And when I came out, I found that some asshole had scratched my car :-(. Anyways, I had to take Vrinda and her friend to Blue Bells. She's learnin basketball, and I have to take her every Tuesday ans Thursday. So, not much studyin done so far...I feel like singin:

Wow, Pranshu really seems pissed off about me blowing the lid off her poem. I talked to her on the phone though, and she seemed OK. I finally got some studying done last night, 'cause I didn't log on to the net. And now that Nasa'a finally back in town, maybe we'll get a whiff of news about the datesheet. Jazzy's internet account is all used up, and he won't be online for a couple o' days {:-(.I feel lonely already. He and Nasa were the only two people who have nothing better to do than sit online all day(and night), just like me. I hope Drish gets done with his exam soon. Even he's not been online lately. Well, I am feelin sleepy after studyin two whole pages of Boylestad...zzz.zzz...

As expected, India went down without a fight. Anyways, the battery of the cellphone I got from my friend is dead now that I have played so many games on it. And I don't even have the charger. And guess what, my phone handset is with him! So, I am stuck witout a mobile phne now. I was expectin him to bring it yesterday, but he didn't even turn up. Life sucks. I finally stared studyi for Analog Electronics after talkin to Pranshu and Taran for more that two hours. Boy, that chapter on High frequency response of transistors is tough. Hope I get it somehow. And yeah, I just might get that MP3 player I always wanted. Eat your heart out Jazzy.

How the hell are India ever gonna win abroad? Anyways, they did well at least to dismiss seven Kiwis, but 161 all out? And I finally thought Enfland had a chance to win their first match of the tour, after scoring 251. But 10 overs into the Australian innings and at 77 witout loss, I changed my mind. And yeah, no news of the datesheet yet. And I finally gor a handset from my friend on ehich that damn idea card will work. But you know what, IDEA SUCKS!

Phew!! What a day! Never slept so much in a day in my whole godamn life. Got up at 10 in the mornin to breakfast in bed. Wow, half fried eggs and paranthas do so much to help you go back to sleep again. So, I answered their calling and promptly went back to sleep, only to be kicked outta bed by mom! So I took a cold shower and crawled into bed with with a course book. Then the angels of sleep took me into the gret world where there are no exams and no datesheets. Then some idiot's car siren started blarin, and I had to go and check out if it was my car. Anyways, then I went to the gym and watched Pakistan kick South Africa's ass. That's about it, you know, and I am here now, waitin for the Inda New Zealand match to start at 3:30 AM. INDIA RULES!!

Well, I took mom around for a few chores around town today. And then Pranshu calls and asks if I wanna go out and have fun with her and Amit. What, are they out of their minds. Well, I told Amit to go to L****** Nagar and have all the fun he likes. And then Nasa messages and says exams are from 17th. So, naturally, I get the scare of my life, since I haven't even started preparing. So I call Danish and ask him, he says 28tg, so I start "not studying" again.

Well, what do I say, getting up early on Sunday mornings is a bitch, especially if you hit the sack at two the previous morning. Well, it's nearly noon, and I am yet to accompilish anything of note, save a couple of numericals on D.C. Generator. I was feelin kinda sleepy after having poori alloo for breakfast, so I decided to take a walk around the neigbourhood. And I met the owner of my gym, whose grandmother had expired on Thursday, and the gym's been closed since then. He has Jazzy's novel, and now I don't know how I am gonna get it back. Well, Jazzy'll understand. And that damn SOB idea SIM card is still not workin. And I don't think my dad is gonna buy me a new phone. So it's back to begging and borrowing for a newer handset I guess.
